Imagination is more important than knowledge
Albert Einstein (yep, the guy with the funny hair) is credited for giving the world the quote, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." If you think about it, he didn't say that imagination is exclusive of knowledge, just more important. And we agree. So imagination comes first. Knowing how to use it, then would come next, right?
We're DNT BLNK (don't blink without the vowels), as you might abbreviate it if you texted it on your mobile phone. Or just skip the vowels all together because there isn't time for them. We're not opposed to proper spelling but we think there's more at stake than whether or not someone thinks we misspelled our own name. We think the idea that it represents is greater than how it's spelled. You know, like a logo.
Imagine what's changed in communication in the last 3 years. I bet you don't have the same phone, do you? It's your primary two-way communication device. What about your social status...checked it lately? Or what about a website that you have visited recently (like this one), have you learned anything new?
The way we share ideas is changing at a rapid pace. Unless you have the inside knowledge, you probably don't know what's coming next. And if you think you do, it might just be a guess. So what's coming next is less about technology and more about imagination. Can you imagine what's next?
We can.
